The Silicon Valley Business Journal named Stevenson Terrace by MidPen Housing as the Structures Award winner for best affordable housing project. Gates + Associates was cited for landscape design, and team partners were noted including Devcon Construction, Herman Coliver Locus Architecture and Civil Engineering Associates.

Completed in 2019, this new 80-unit community includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment options within the four-story building. Stevenson Terrace incorporates numerous green design features, including: a solar hot water system, rooftop solar energy panels, energy-efficient appliances, and drought-tolerant landscaping.

Built on a previously vacant site in Fremont's Central District and steps away from Central Park, Stevenson Terrace also hosts a range of community amenities for residents to utilize and enjoy, including a community room with kitchen, computer lounge, a children’s play area, a classroom for the after school program, an outdoor courtyard, and secured bicycle storage.
